Luang Prabang - Laos
Welcome to my Luang Prabang gallery, capturing the timeless beauty of Laos’ spiritual heart. Nestled between the Mekong and Nam Khan rivers, Luang Prabang enchants with its golden temples, French colonial architecture, and vibrant night markets. I have fond memories of my trip to Luang Prabang in 2009 (please excuse the low resolution of the photos it was before I got into photography). After 4 month living in Bangkok and being overwhelmed with the big-city-life and cultural shock I wanted to go somewhere quite and easy going. My colleagues suggested Luang Prabang and it was the right choice. Stroll through the serene Wat Xieng Thong, climb Mount Phousi for panoramic views, and experience the morning alms-giving ritual. The ancient city is a UNESCO World Heritage site, preserving its rich heritage and tranquil ambiance. The best times to visit are the cooler months from November to February. Let my photographs inspire your journey to this captivating destination, where every moment feels like a step back in time. I hope I can go back soon and take some more amazing photos.
